My name is Paulina and I am the founder of Just Mama’s Milk.
The idea of this business came to me as I was breastfeeding my sweet babe, Jesse James one night. He was 9 months old and I was loving our breastfeeding journey.
Up until then, I was able to produce a decent stock of frozen milk. During his first 6 months of life, I even donated my milk to a handful of other mamas in need.
However, as he was approaching his first birthday, I was starting to get nervous that my frozen milk would “expire” soon. Living in South Florida and being in the midst of hurricane season, I also feared the worst - losing power and losing all my milk.
I had seen some info about freeze-drying breast milk online but all the companies were located many states away and the process of transporting my frozen milk thousands of miles away and then back seemed too troublesome.
So like all mamas, I decided to be resourceful.
